How yowns works
launch on Robinhood, hold private on Zcash
Launch on Robinhood
yowns runs on the Robinhood network, an Ethereum L2. Pay a small launch fee and your token mints a fresh bonding-curve pool on chain.
Trade on the curve
Buy and sell instantly against the curve. The price rises as tokens are bought. Creators earn fees on every trade.
Private on Zcash
Each token can also live as a shielded Zcash asset (ZSA) — held and sent privately, with amounts hidden — while the launchpad keeps running on Robinhood.
How Robinhood connects to Zcash
yowns launches and trades tokens on the Robinhood network (an Ethereum L2 — fast, cheap ETH gas). Separately, each token gets a Zcash representation as a shielded asset (ZSA): the same token, but held and transferred privately with hidden amounts. A bridge (pegzone) mints the ZSA from the Robinhood token and burns it back. The launchpad itself — the curve, the fees, the trades — lives on Robinhood; Zcash is the privacy layer.
Status: the Robinhood launchpad ships first. ZSA is live on the Zcash testnet and rolls out to mainnet with the NU7 upgrade, so the private Zcash representation follows. ZSA spec
